Big Brother Nigeria is the Nigerian version of the internationally acclaimed reality show "Big Brother", but Big Brother Nigeria is filmed
in Nigeria and features mainly Nigerian cast and crew.

Big Brother Nigeria Features 12-14 Nigerian contestants sharing one home while, several microphones and cameras are set up to capture every moment of their lives.(24 hours a day). The contestants are referred to as housemates. In order to qualify as a potential housemate, one must be a Nigerian, resident in Nigeria and must be at least 21 years old. Big Brother Nigeria is shown in about 54 African countries and surrounding territories, therefore, English is the only acceptable language of communication between housemates.

The show typically runs over a period of  3 months. While in the house, the participants are locked away from the outside world (away from family, friends and other love ones). During the show, some of the housemates are "voted off" the show, and viewers in all the viewing countries are eligible to vote. Big Brother supply the basic items that the housemates need to survive in the house. This is certainly a great show to watch.
