About Mr Bonny Umeadi, PhD
What
drives Mr Bonny Umeadi PhD in his career according to him is the
need to integrate infrastructure maintenance, technologies and
processes which is reasonably well understood but is still
difficult to carry out successfully. He explained that as you
may possibly know, less well understood is how this can be
achieved in non-mathematical environment and how multiple micro
devices from manipulation expertise of modern application
technology can be brought together to provide an objective and
cost effective oil and gas pipeline system in-service
monitoring, diagnoses and report without third party
intervention. His research times have been spent to addressing
this gap as you will find below.
Mr Bonny Umeadi PhD was born in Isheagu and attended Adigbo
Secondray School (St. Michael Collage) Ogwashi-Uku; both in
Delta State Nigeria. As a young boy enjoyed painting and
drawing, and was the youngest artist to exhibit at the All
African Festival of Art and Culture (FESTAC 77) in Lagos
Nigeria; delighted that his creative flare has driven him into
more valuable invention such as his latest mentioned above. He
would like to bring these experiences and technologies developed
as a result home meaning Nigeria rather than keep it elsewhere.
Especially to add value to Nigerian institutions; organisations
and or community project e.g. to the benefit of the common
woman, man and child of Niger Delta Region is closer to his
hearth. The award winner holds PhD Architecture & Construction,
MSc Project Management-Architecture & Construction both from
University of Greenwich UK; Postgraduate Diploma in Lithographic
Planning Technology London Institute; BA in Development and
International Economics, before that had studied in School of
Printing Technology West Germany and become interested in
experimental technology, acquired technical foundation on which
to base my creativity.
