Dear Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala:

Please madam, do not take that job in Nigeria. As the saying goes "Fool me once, it is them and fool me twice, it is you". Nigeria does not appreciate its great citizens, but loves the incompetent and corrupt citizens. Nigeria looks for every opportunity to tarnish the image of her great citizens. It begins with giving them Federal appointments.

Please madam, you survived President Obasanjo and his vice Atiku Abubakar, and why do you want to be rubbished again, and I bet you it will happen again with Nigerian factors and its corruption.

Madam, please do not take that job in Nigeria. As it is right now, we have few heroes in Igbo land that have not been rubbished by Nigeria and its factors. You are one of the few including Dr. Chinue Achebe, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, among few other Igbo leaders that have refused to be rubbished by Nigeria and its corruption and jealousies.

Remember that Dr. Kalu Idika Kalu was also brought back to Nigeria from World Bank/IMF Asian Division, where he was the head for World Bank/IMF Asian sector in the 1970/1980s. He was brought back by the military people and was made a minister and what is the outcome?

And looking back at our eminent Professor Wole Soyinka who was also brought into the system by the military to work for President Babangida and what happened? And Professor Maurice Iwu, a tenured world-acclaimed scientist with many patents; they brought him back from USA and then tarnished him.

Madam, biko, stay in Washington where your work is appreciated as the Managing Director of the World Bank.

Please leave this failed state Nigeria alone, because Nigeria goes one step forward and ten steps backward, and Nigeria is looking for good people to tarnish their image, as nobody knows the direction this corrupt nation is heading to.

Madam, don't take that job in Nigeria.

Signed:
